King arrived to a shelter in Gran Canaria from one of their notorious pererras on the island as a tiny pup along with the rest of his litter. He’s been waiting 7 long years to find a loving home and now its his time. He has recently made his way to the mainland to one of our partner kennels where they are preparing him for adoption. He was initially a little more reserved in his new environment with strange people he didn’t know but his curious and more confident side is starting to show and his is voluntarily approaching the volunteers there for a fuss - even ones he is only meeting for the first time. He’s a really lovely natured boy, good with people and other dogs. He’s been with his sister Keylie since they were puppies - it would be nice for him to form a bond with another doggy companion, although as the more confident of the the pair, for a patient home, we do think he could also manage as an only dog. King is neutered, vaccinated and snap tested negative for Mediterranean diseases - we are in the process of re-testing him in full. He is passported and available for adoption now.
