Katzenkindergarten eröffnet

Unknown · Kitten · 2 months

The update: another fifth kitten has been found—Mila, with gray-and-white fur and just nine weeks old—it’s already bustling in the kitten room! It’s hard to believe, but the four of us—two boys and two girls—turned up out of nowhere near a farm. We’re not exactly sure how we ended up there ourselves—but luckily, Silvia’s animal welfare organization was notified. They took us in, cared for us for ten days, and even started getting us accustomed to humans a bit. Now we’ve moved into the cat house at the Hallein animal shelter, where we’ve settled in nicely and are showing ourselves as curious, playful little kittens. We romp around, play endlessly, and are full of energy—just as we should be. At any rate, we’re definitely not shy or wild; maybe occasionally still a bit reserved. We’ve already been given names—we’re Fiona, Foxy, Funny, and Finn. We’ll need a little more time yet, but we’re well on our way, and we’re already looking forward to meeting people who’d like to give us a loving home where we can continue growing and simply thrive happily. Feel free to drop by the cat house this Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. to chat with Isabella beforehand—she’ll make sure we find the very best home possible.

About Katzenkindergarten eröffnet

What life with Katzenkindergarten eröffnet looks like

Katzenkindergarten eröffnet is a puppy/kitten cat waiting at Tierheim Hallein in Hallein.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇦🇹Adopting from Austria

Austrian shelters follow the federal Tierschutzgesetz framework: adopters sign a Schutzvertrag (protection contract) committing to the animal's welfare. Spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccinations are included; fees typically range €150–€350.

Frequently asked

Adopting Katzenkindergarten eröffnet, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Katzenkindergarten eröffnet?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Hallein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Katzenkindergarten eröffnet on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Katzenkindergarten eröffnet if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Hallein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Katzenkindergarten eröffnet already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Katzenkindergarten eröffnet isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Hallein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Katzenkindergarten eröffnet and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
