Gorgeous Lacky lived on the streets of a village and 17 authorities went to catch him and kill him… as he presented a “danger”. The rescuer took him in and they have been together for over 2 years.Lacky, also known as Norocel, was severly mistreated, beaten and starved, so he will need kind, patient adopters who are willing to go at his pace. Despite his harsh treatment previously, Lacky trusts his rescuer and he follows her everywhere she goes. Lacky would prefer to be the only dog in the household, although he trundles along with the other dogs in the compound and doesn’t cause a reaction in other dogs. The rescuer has managed to socialise him, and he was the first to greet one of our Trustees when she went to the shelter in April 2026, but he will need to go at his own pace once he is in his forever home because everything will be so new. He could possibly live with older, dog-savvy children. Lacky needs all the love he can receive from his new family as he has suffered so much.Lacky is neutered, fully vaccinated, weighs 20kg and is 50cm tall by 65cm long.
