A LAIKA arrived at the shelter with her sister, brought by people who did not spay their dogs. When the mother became pregnant and had puppies, the babies were given to whoever wanted them, and the last two ended up left at the shelter. A Laika chegou ao abrigo juntamente com a sua irmã, trazida por pessoas que não esterilizaram os seus cães. Quando a mãe ficou grávida e teve cachorros, os bebés foram sendo entregues a quem os quis e as duas últimas acabaram deixadas no abrigo. A Laika é uma cachorra muito meiga e amigável, habituada ao contacto com as pessoas e muito brincalhona. Já passeia à trela. Vai ser entregue vacinada, desparasitada, esterilizada e com microchip.
