Akira Dog Sanctuary Input November 17, 2025: Laika is a beautiful medium-sized Podenco. She came in together with Nina and also enjoys playing with her. At first she was quite shy, but once she got used to the routine at the animal shelter, she made great progress. She really comes out of her shell! She loves walking and also walks well with the different volunteers. Laika likes cookies and likes to do something for you. Laika is a hunter but doesn't pull much on the leash, plus she can be easily distracted with a cookie. We would like to place Laika together with Nina because they are so attached to each other, but we understand that this might remain a dream. Nina is more attached to Laika than the other way around, but we see that Laika would also like to have another dog around. Therefore, she could also be placed somewhere where another dog is already present. Who wants to accompany this wonderful girl in her new future?

Akira Dog Sanctuary Input 17 november 2025: Laika is een mooie medium maat Podenco. Ze is samen binnengekomen met Nina en speelt ook graag met haar. In het begin was ze vrij timide maar zodra ze de routine van het asiel opgepakt had, is ze met sprongen vooruit gegaan. Ze komt echt uit haar schulp! Ze wandelt graag en loopt ook goed met de verschillende vrijwilligers mee. Laika houdt ook van koekjes en doet graag iets voor je.Laika is een jager maar ze trekt niet veel aan de lijn, plus ze is goed af te leiden met een koekje.We zouden Laika het liefst samen met Nina plaatsen omdat ze zo aan elkaar gehecht zijn, maar we begrijpen ook dat dat wellicht een droom blijft. Nina hangt meer aan Laika dan andersom, maar we zien wel dat Laika graag een andere hond om zich heen heeft. Ze kan dus ook ergens geplaatst worden waar al een andere hond aanwezig is.Wie wil deze prachtige meid begeleiden in haar nieuwe toekomst?
