Adopt Lala

Mixed Breed · Female

Lala – becoming more and more confident Status: for adoption Lala is a female dog who can steal hearts with her calmness and delicacy. She loves walks, walks beautifully on a leash, is very comfortable at home and functions well in everyday life. She keeps herself clean, eats nicely and is a trouble-free roommate. However, she loves other dogs the most. She feels safe with them, plays gladly and builds strong relationships with them. She particularly likes larger dogs – it is with them that she opens up the most and shows her joyful side. Her favorite playmate in the foster home is Delta, a shepherd type. Lala also really loves walks – she lives for them and is always waiting for the moment to go out. During walks she walks nicely on a leash, although if she hears a barking dog, she can join it with her high, emotional bark. She has been in a foster home for a year and has made great progress. Not long ago, people were a big challenge for her, but now she often comes on her own to greet. She seeks contact, enjoys the presence of the caretakers and it is clear that she is becoming more and more convinced of people day by day. She is still a sensitive and delicate girl who needs time to fully trust. But anyone who has met her sees great potential in her and knows that she will bloom even more in the right home. We are looking for a quiet, patient home for Lali – preferably with a dog or dogs, where she will feel safe. A home that understands her sensitivity and allows her to do everything in her own pace. Because Lala really wants to trust humans – and is taking increasingly bold steps in that direction. —- DOG PROFILE —- 🧮 Year of birth: 07/2021 🚻 Gender: female 🐾 Size: approx. 20kg 🏀 Activity: average ❤️ neutered: yes ℹ️ Chip: yes 💉 Vaccinations: yes ✅ dog is under the care of the Tricity branch of the Judyta Puppies Foundation ✅ dog is in a foster home in the Tricity area and surroundings ✅ Adoption requirement: completing the questionnaire, pre-adoption visit and signing the adoption agreement ✅ LINK TO QUESTIONNAIRE:

About Lala

What life with Lala looks like

Lala is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lala, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lala?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lala on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lala if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lala already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lala isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lala and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
