Introduction: Lara (tri colour) and Nelly (cream) are sweet but sensitive little dogs who will be looking for a kind patient home to build their confidence. Home wanted: Lara and Nelly looking for a calm quiet patient home where adopters will give them the space to bond and trust. They would like access to their own secure garden to help with confidence building. They are mostly housetrained, not used to travelling but fine, ok being left alone together. Lara and Nelly can be worried by lots of noise and activity so would prefer a quiet home in a quiet area. Behaviour towards people/children: Lara and Nelly are timid around people and will require a calm quiet patient approach to making friends. Lara is the more confident of the two and will wiggle her way over to people, and Nelly would rather watch from a distance before greeting people. They will bond closely with those they trust and will enjoy lap cuddles. They may prefer a home where children are aged 16+ or potentially an experienced home where any children are quiet, sensible and aged 13+ who would be happy to take a slow approach with them. Other animals: Lara and Nelly can be worried by other dogs and will need some support around them. They would need to be rehomed together and would like to be the only dogs in the home. Not suited to living with cats. Additional needs (behavioural/extra support): Lara and Nelly would like a home with an understanding of, and the time to, support them both behaviourally and emotionally around meeting new people and other dogs. A home that understands they will need a gentle approach when making new friends. Lara and Nelly will require several meets to get to know someone.
