adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Laris is heading straight to his family! His story. Here comes Laris! With his delicate weight of around 7 kg, this little treasure is currently still light as a feather, but his presence is already huge! Laris has fluffy black fur, interrupted only by a few elegant white accents – simply irresistible! It’s not out of the question that a few pointers might be mixed in his family tree. Laris is not only handsome but also super friendly, open, curious, and immediately there when you enter the kennel. He loves being close to people! Found together with his siblings in the forest – frostbitten, hungry, and desperate. But those times are thankfully over! Now, Laris, who will likely grow into a medium to large handsome fellow, is searching for his very own happy ending. He gets along well with other dogs, but whether that also applies to cats, we don’t know. As a puppy, Laris is like a sponge: he wants to learn, explore, and most of all, cuddle! The puppy stage requires patience, lots of positive reinforcement, and especially playful introduction to life in a family! House training, gradual independence, basic commands – all of this needs to be learned. And when you think the essentials are done – zack, comes the famous puberty! The pointer genes could mean he becomes more headstrong and busy. Suddenly, he tests his limits, thinks he knows it all, and his ears are on full alert. No need to worry, this is normal! What’s important is: consistency, love, patience, and a sense of humor! Clear rules, an engaging anti-boredom program (thinking games, nose work, light training), enough exercise, and most importantly: creating quiet zones. Laris then needs a reliable hand to guide him through this wild time and channel his energy into positive directions. By now, a visit to dog training classes could also be helpful. Laris travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with his EU pet passport to his family. After a positive But he would also be happy to stay in a foster home. Are you ready to give this enchanting, lively treasure a life full of love, adventure, and security? Thank you, Martina K.! With your namesake sponsorship, you have given Laris an identity. Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Laris reist direkt in seine Familie! Seine Geschichte. Hier kommt Laris! Stubenreinheit, schrittweises Alleinebleiben, Grundkommandos – all das will gelernt werden. Danke Martina K.! Mit Deiner Namenspatenschaft hat Du Laris eine Identität geschenkt. Stand: 10.12.2025

About Laris

What life with Laris looks like

Laris is a extra-large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Laris, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Laris?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Laris on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Laris if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Laris already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Laris isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Laris and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
