Leslie is a young dog with character and not afraid of people, despite everything she has been through. She was found by one of our rescuers, who brought her to safety at the shelter. Leslie was walking with her puppy Nina when they were chased by a woman with stones on a busy road. It is likely that she lived in a house but was abandoned when she was no longer needed. Leslie was lucky to be picked up by one of our rescuers, who brought her to safety at the shelter. She is a dog with character and not afraid of people, despite everything she has been through. During a short walk outside the kennel, she tripped all around and her nose went 'on'. During the walk, she seemed a bit restless, but after what she has been through, she naturally needs some time to calm down. In October, two of our team members will go to the shelter and we hope to get to know her better. We hope that we can book a one-way ticket to the Netherlands for her soon, so she can finally experience what it's like to live in a loving home. Leslie is ready to travel, all her vaccinations are in order and of course she has a registered chip and a passport. Her health has been checked (no particularities) and she has been spayed. She can go on the next transport. When a suitable adopter or foster family comes forward for her, our foundation will arrange the transport with professional pet transport. Our dogs are brought home one by one to the address of their foster or permanent home. We hope that we can book a one-way ticket to the Netherlands for this cheerful young dog soon! Informatie: Leslie liep met haar pup Nina op straat, verward, hongerig en angstig. Ze liepen langs een drukke weg terwijl ze door een mevrouw met stenen werden opgejaagd. Waarschijnlijk heeft ze in een huis gewoond, maar is ze afgedankt toen men haar ‘niet meer nodig had’. Leslie liet zich gelukkig oppakken door een van onze rescuers, die haar in veiligheid heeft gebracht in het asiel. Ze is een hondje met karakter en niet bang voor mensen lijkt het, ondanks alles wat ze meegemaakt heeft. Bij een korte wandeling buiten de kennel trippelde ze alle kanten op en ging haar neusje ‘aan staan’. Tijdens de wandeling leek ze wat onrustig, maar na wat ze heeft meegemaakt heeft ze natuurlijk eerst even tijd nodig om weer tot rust te komen. In oktober gaan twee van onze teamleden naar het asiel, en hopen we haar beter te leren kennen. We hopen dat we voor haar snel een enkele reis naar Nederland kunnen boeken, zodat ze eindelijk mag ervaren hoe het is om in een liefdevol thuis te wonen. Leslie is reisklaar, al haar inentingen zijn in orde en natuurlijk heeft ze een geregistreerde chip en een paspoort. Haar gezondheid is gecheckt (geen bijzonderheden) en ze is gesteriliseerd. Ze kan mee op het eerstvolgende transport. Wanneer zich een goed passende adoptant of een gastgezin aandient voor haar, dan regelt onze stichting het vervoer met professioneel huisdiertransport. Onze hondjes worden één voor één thuisgebracht bij het adres van hun opvang of blijvende thuis. We hopen dat we voor deze vrolijke jonge hond snel een enkele reis naar Nederland kunnen boeken! In Roemenië zelf zijn honden in het asiel kansloos, zelfs de jonge honden...
