Adopt Lienda

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Mixed breed born 01/2024 approx. 35cm tall Compatible with: male dogs, female dogs and cats Children not yet tested Lienda is a magical little female dog, who touches people with her fluffy fur, attentive eyes and gentle look. She appears delicate and cute, but there's surely a small personality inside her that is waiting to blossom in a loving home. This friendly female dog meets people openly and lovably. She seeks closeness, wants to belong and would certainly be happy to finally have trusted people by her side who give her security and safety. After everything she has experienced so far, Lienda deserves a home where she can simply be a dog. Lienda is compatible with other dogs and cats are no problem for her. This makes her ideally suited to join an existing pack or a harmonious home with other animals. As a small female dog, Lienda fits perfectly with people who are looking for a loyal companion - for cozy cuddle sessions, small adventures in daily life and many moments full of love. She will probably not need much, except a warm dog bed, patience and people who warmly welcome her. Who will finally give this charming little Lienda the happiness she has been waiting for so long? Lienda is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, registered and checked by a veterinarian. She has also been tested for Mediterranean diseases and comes to her new home with an EU vaccination certificate. All the pictures we have of Lienda are compiled into a slideshow above on the page. Take the time to look at the pictures, or feel free to click on them to see the next picture. Contact:

About Lienda

What life with Lienda looks like

Lienda is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Hoffnungsvolle Tierherzen e.V. in Essingen.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lienda, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lienda?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hoffnungsvolle Tierherzen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lienda on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lienda if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hoffnungsvolle Tierherzen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lienda already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lienda isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hoffnungsvolle Tierherzen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lienda and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
