Lilo- enjoys a little affectionIndoor-only or outdoor access? Indoor only (or a home with a catio/cat proofed garden) We came to the sanctuary at the end of September last year after we were brought here in a taped up cardboard box with our mummy Sapphire. It was difficult for the sanctuary team to understand where we were from but the man who had us in the box said he had no home and no choice but to bring us in. It seemed like we may have been strays. We were very nervous and scared when we arrived and would hide away. We were riddled in fleas and had big wormy bellies so were treated for parasites immediately. Over time, we have grown so much in confidence. We are still timid and wary kittens, but with patience and gentle handling, we have begun to accept soft touches and fuss from our carers when we feel safe. I Lilo enjoys a fuss but my brother Stitch gets a bit hand shy. He is brave enough to sit next to the humans and enjoys interactive play too.Despite our shy nature, we are very inquisitive and full of typical kitten energy. We love zooming around, exploring our tunnel, and playing with our toys. We hope someones will give us a chance soon" as we have now been waiting for a few months.

About Lilo & Stitch

What life with Lilo & Stitch looks like

Lilo & Stitch is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Wythall Animal Sanctuary in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lilo & Stitch, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lilo & Stitch?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Wythall Animal Sanctuary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lilo & Stitch on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lilo & Stitch if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Wythall Animal Sanctuary will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lilo & Stitch already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lilo & Stitch isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Wythall Animal Sanctuary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lilo & Stitch and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
