Linabell

Lurcher · Male

Linabell is a lovely girl, she is whippety lurcher just over 19 inches to her shoulder. When Linabell came in first she was very timid but she’s coming out of her shell slowly but surely. I think she would benefit of another dog but not absolutely necessary. She plays everyday with Farah and has great fun. She is good on her lead and tries her best to be clean in her kennel so housetraining will be very easy. I also think a house where everyone understands that she might be a bit nervous to start with is necessary so I think younger children may not be a perfect setting unless they know to be gentle. Cats are most likely a no go as she’s shown to be reactive when seeing them. Linabell is fully vaccinated including kennel cough, chipped and spayed. Home visit and Adoption fee applies. Please note we are in North Cork and adopters must be willing to travel to our kennels to meet the dogs and if applicable bring their own dog with them

About Linabell

What life with Linabell looks like

Linabell is a medium-sized adult lurcher dog waiting at PetMatch Ireland in Ireland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇮🇪Adopting from Ireland

Irish shelters require a home check (often phone or video) and an adoption contract. Animals are vaccinated, chipped, and registered. Cross-border placements to mainland Europe require the rabies titer test (TRACES system).

Frequently asked

Adopting Linabell, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Linabell?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. PetMatch Ireland handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Linabell on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Linabell if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — PetMatch Ireland will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Linabell already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Linabell isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with PetMatch Ireland early rather than rehoming privately; they know Linabell and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
