Adopt Loco

Mixed Breed · Male

Loco - call him zen 🙂 Status: available for adoption With surprise I read that "loco" in Spanish slang means crazy and wild. Nothing matches here! 🙂 Loco is an adult, he has learned everything he needs, now he just enjoys the luxuries of life. He is calm, balanced and probably knows that he is a great dog. His behavior at home is exemplary, there is nothing to compare to 🙂 He can behave in any situation. A gentleman! Being alone, of course! Living with children, of course! Walks even by car, hold my bowl! 🙂 And when after a tough day (yours, because Loco is waiting for you in his nest, he doesn't really get tired), you go for a walk, all worries will disappear and it will be like heaven! Loco knows how to walk like no one else! —- DOG'S PROFILE —- 🧮 Year of birth: 10.2018 🚻 Sex: male 🐾 Size: medium 🏀 Activity: currently around 17kg ❤️ neutered: yes ℹ️ Chip: yes 💉 Vaccinations: yes ✅ The dog is under the care of the Gdansk branch of the Foundation for Puppies Judyta ✅ The dog is currently in a foster home in the Gdansk area and surroundings ✅ Adoption requirement: completing the questionnaire, pre-adoption visit and signing the adoption contract ✅ LINK TO QUESTIONNAIRE:

Spacery a nawet i te samochodem, potrzymaj mi miskę!

About Loco

What life with Loco looks like

Loco is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Loco, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Loco?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Loco on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Loco if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Loco already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Loco isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Loco and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
