Lola

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Lola is a lovely young white and ticked tabby with soft fur and two bright green eyes outlined in black. She is vaccinated, microchipped, has undergone anti-parasite treatments, and tested FIV and FeLV negative. Character: Lola immediately wins over with her sweetness and intelligence. She is an attentive and receptive kitten: when playtime is over and it's time to return to the room of the volunteer who is temporarily hosting her, she immediately understands the situation and accepts it without trying to escape. She is playful but very gentle in her ways: during play, she never pulls out her claws. Curious and sociable, she loves the company of people and accepts cuddles and attention with pleasure. Ideal adoption: Lola is the ideal companion for an affectionate and present family, who can devote time, attention, and many opportunities for play and interaction to her. In the presence of children, it is important that they are respectful and gentle towards animals and that interactions are always supervised by adults, so as to guarantee a serene and positive environment for everyone. She is also suitable for people new to cats, as long as they are aware of the commitment involved in caring for a young cat and the responsibility of accompanying her for her entire life. For Lola, an apartment is sought exclusively (no garden). The handover will only take place after a pre-handover check. Adoptable exclusively in Northern Italy. Watch the short VIDEO of Lola being petted! Origin: The story of sweet Lola begins in Sicily, where she was abandoned in a cat colony. Fortunately, she met people who gave her a second chance, rescuing her and finding her a place in the North. Lola arrived with many hopes, but unfortunately, the cohabitation with the resident cat did not prove possible, despite the attempts made. For this reason, a conscious and definitive adoption is urgently sought for this wonderful kitten in a context where she can be the only cat in the house.

About Lola

What life with Lola looks like

Lola is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at ENPA Monza e Brianza in Monza.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lola, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lola?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ENPA Monza e Brianza handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lola on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lola if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ENPA Monza e Brianza will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lola already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lola isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ENPA Monza e Brianza early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lola and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
