Lolli

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 4 years

Four black beauties, one sweeter than the other. When you hear the names of the four black beauties, you automatically get hungry and find it hard to resist. Praline, Moncheri, Toffifee and Lolli are the girls, and they appeared one day together with their mother on a farm. We don't know where they came from. They were lucky, because the farming family was kind to them and informed the Animal Protection staff and asked for help. The entire family was medically checked and now lives together in the animal shelter. All the puppies are doing very well and are growing and thriving beautifully. It's slowly time to think about the farewell. All four are ready to go their own ways and are looking for their soulmates. Lolli owes her sweet name to a loyal godmother who also has a preference for sweets. Heartfelt thanks for this original name. It is quite difficult to tell the four siblings apart, as they look almost identical. If you look into the enclosure, you often see only four messy, black noses running around that all look the same. But upon closer inspection, you realize that each has its own special characteristics. Lolli is the calm one in the family. Compared to her sisters, she is a bit calmer and more reserved and prefers the protection of the strong mother. When the others are playing and having fun, Lolli prefers to snuggle up to her mother and watch the action from a distance. She naturally knows life with other dogs and also with cats and finds it great. Now it's slowly time for Lolli to learn to stand on her own feet and find her final home. The adaptation is easiest for Lolli at a young age. She wishes for a family that does a lot with her and especially includes her in their heart. Lolli will definitely do that. The siblings Moncherie, Praline, Toffifee and Lolli are currently still very shy and can only be rehomed to experienced families in the countryside. This animal can be anxious in unfamiliar situations.

About Lolli

What life with Lolli looks like

Lolli is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Aegean Dogs e.V. / FAZA Aegina in Berlin.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lolli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lolli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Aegean Dogs e.V. / FAZA Aegina handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lolli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lolli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Aegean Dogs e.V. / FAZA Aegina will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lolli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lolli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Aegean Dogs e.V. / FAZA Aegina early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lolli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
