Name of the Animal:Lotta Stock Number:148_F_25 Reason for Admission:Found animal In shelter since:20.06.2025 Breed:Norwegian Mix Gender:female Color/Coat:spotted Date of Birth:ca. 01.05.2023 Shoulder height/Weight: Found location/Reason for surrender:Moers Animal description: November 2025 Although Lotta still does not like to be close to us, she has found enough courage and trust that we now see her outside of a cave more often. It's small steps that she takes towards us, but as long as Lotta is moving in the right direction, we are happy with these mini-progresses. August 2025 Lotta, who arrived with her kittens Svea and Edda (both already rehomed), has now been microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and moved into the cattery. Lotta is currently very unsettled and seeks refuge in caves. She needs very patient and sensitive people who can bring her closer to cohabitation under human care. Spontaneous visits are unfortunately not possible. For inquiries about Lotta, the coordinating colleagues are available for telephone consultations from Monday to Friday from 14 – 17 hours and on Saturday from 13 – 16 hours.

About Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck

What life with Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck looks like

Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck is a very small young adult cat waiting at Tierheim Moers in Moers.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Moers handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Moers will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Moers early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lotta … sucht Sicherheit im Versteck and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
