Luz

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 4 years

Luz is a beautiful black cat with a little quirk that makes her even more endearing: she often lets her tongue peek out just a little, giving her a truly charming look. She’s an affectionate cat with people and enjoys company and cuddles. She also gets along very well with other cats, and it’s common to see her near her fellow cats, sharing space and seeking their company. Luz is a sweet, sociable cat with a calm temperament who enjoys feeling accompanied. After everything she’s been through, she now hopes to find a family that will offer her the love and security she deserves. We’d love for Luz to finally find that home where she can continue being herself—with her beautiful gaze, her affectionate nature, and that little tongue that brings so many smiles—and if it’s alongside one of her companions, she’d be happy. 🏡 To ensure her safety, it’s essential that windows and balconies have proper safety guards in place before adoption. 📩 📸

About Luz

What life with Luz looks like

Luz is an adult mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Luz, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Luz?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Luz on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Luz if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Luz already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Luz isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Luz and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
