Mother Madge arrived in our care heavily pregnant and has given birth to 7 beautiful, healthy puppies. She has been a great mum to them all and is now on the look out for a forever home to enjoy some peace and quiet after a very exhausting few months. Once all her puppies have found homes she will be ready to find her so we are looking for owners who are willing to come and bond with her at the centre beforehand, and be flexible on her rehoming date. Madge prefers quiet, rural walks so would love a home that can replicate this, away from busier areas. She is an incredibly affectionate and playful girl but can sometimes take a little time to ‘let her hair down’ around new people. She walks lovely on lead but does seek reassurance in new places/ situations, so owners who are happy to continue her reward based training is a must. We are looking for a home where she will be the only dog in the home at the moment (unless with one of her own puppies if you’re up for the challenge) until she has recovered from her future spay and her motherly instincts have settled down. However, she would benefit from still socialising with them outside the home and could live with a suitably matched dog in future. If you can offer this sweet girl a home please get in touch.
