Magpie 🐾 lässt sich nicht unterkriegen 💪🏼

Female · Kitten · 6 months

Magpie (female) 🎂 Birthday: approximately 4/2026 🤕 Disability: one-eyed 📌 Location: Cyprus, on PS 🏡 Living situation: no unsecured outdoor access, no solitary housing Hey, I'm Magpie! Whether it's cuddling or playtime, I'm ready for anything. I'm a gentle, loving girl who loves people and gets along well with other cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛. At the age of 2 months, I was found with a very severe eye injury. The veterinarians did their best, but in the end, the eye 👁️ had to be removed to spare me further pain. But that didn't stop me and I enjoy life. I can run, play, discover, and love like any other kitten. Most people even forget that I don't have 2 eyes 👀 because they're so enchanted by my loving nature. I think what I lack doesn't make me special, but how much love 🫶🏻 I have to give... for YOU! ♥️ My journey to you will be with a microchip, vaccinations, tested for FiV/FelV, and an EU pet passport. ----------------------------------------------------------- Who are the heroes behind Heroes for Cyprus Cats We at Heroes for Cyprus Cats are a dedicated team of animal lovers from Cyprus, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who are committed to the welfare of street cats in Cyprus. Our goal is to improve the lives of these cats sustainably. Our local team in Cyprus feeds, neuters, and cares for sick or injured cats on the streets and in colonies. If necessary, we bring them to foster families where they wait in a safe environment for their family. We also maintain a strong online presence, handle inquiries from adopters, and provide support at the airport. Street cats in Cyprus suffer greatly and are often victims of car accidents or cruel mistreatment. Many simply starve or die from diseases that are not treated. We save them from this sad fate and work tirelessly to find a loving, safe home for our rescued cats. We place great value on a collegial, transparent, and respectful relationship within our team and with potential adopters. For us, adopting a cat is just the beginning. We commit to supporting our rescued cats and their new families for a lifetime. Together, we make a difference for every single cat.

What life with Magpie 🐾 lässt sich nicht unterkriegen 💪🏼 looks like

Magpie 🐾 lässt sich nicht unterkriegen 💪🏼 is a large kitten cat waiting at Heroes for Cyprus Cats / Zypernkatzen in Kirchheim bei München.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Can I adopt Magpie 🐾 lässt sich nicht unterkriegen 💪🏼 if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Heroes for Cyprus Cats / Zypernkatzen will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Magpie 🐾 lässt sich nicht unterkriegen 💪🏼 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Magpie 🐾 lässt sich nicht unterkriegen 💪🏼 isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Heroes for Cyprus Cats / Zypernkatzen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Magpie 🐾 lässt sich nicht unterkriegen 💪🏼 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
