With a height of about 50 to 55 cm and a weight of around 25 kg, she is a sturdy medium-sized dog. She walks well on a leash. In the car, Mandy would like to sit in the front, which requires some guidance. In addition, she is very friendly, even towards strangers. She rarely barks and is open to everyone she meets. At the same time, she does need space and exercise. Therefore, we are looking for an active family with a garden for her. She is less suitable for older people, as she needs energy and activity. Mandy is een gesteriliseerde teef van 8 jaar oud. Hoewel zij geen jonge hond meer is, is zij nog steeds actief en energiek. Daarnaast is zij ontzettend aanhankelijk en zoekt zij graag contact met mensen. Vorig jaar april, toen rescuer Timea de honden Savannah en Samuel redde, werd zij door de politie benaderd met de vraag of er ook plek was voor een andere verlaten hond. Mandy was namelijk door haar eigenaar langs de weg gedumpt. Gelukkig werd dit vastgelegd door een camera, waardoor de eigenaar kon worden geïdentificeerd. Mandy kon gelukkig in de opvang van Timea terecht. Met een schofthoogte van ongeveer 50 tot 55 cm en een gewicht van rond de 25 kilo is zij een stevige middelgrote hond. Ze loopt goed aan de lijn. In de auto wil Mandy graag voorin zitten. Dat vraagt dus wat begeleiding. Daarnaast is zij erg vriendelijk, zelfs tegenover vreemden. Ze blaft bijna nooit en staat open naar iedereen die zij ontmoet. Tegelijkertijd heeft zij wel behoefte aan ruimte en beweging. Daarom zoeken we voor haar een actief gezin met een tuin. Voor oudere mensen is zij minder geschikt, omdat zij energie en activiteit nodig heeft. Tenslotte is Mandy een hond die het liefst de hele dag knuffelt.
