Masha ist eine sehr freundliche und aufgeschlossene Hündin, die Menschen gegenüber stets lieb und neugierig ist. Katzen akzeptiert sie, zeigt aber hin und wieder einen Jagdtrieb ihnen gegenüber. Kinder mag sie ebenfalls sehr gern – vor lauter Freude kann es jedoch passieren, dass sie sie manchmal anspringt.
