There are animals that spend their entire lives waiting for an opportunity. The Mike has been at the our shelter since 2015. Year after year, he saw many companions depart for their families while he remained in the back. But somehow, he never stopped believing that one day his turn would come. He is an extremely shy and sensitive dog who still faces some fears and insecurities. He needs time, patience, and someone who respects his pace. However, when he feels safe, he finds the courage to approach and offers us small moments of trust that are worth gold. It’s as if he’s saying, “I am capable of trusting… I just need an opportunity.” ❤️ We believe that life can always smile again, even when the wait is long. And we hope that somewhere, there is someone willing to show the Mike that it’s never too late to be happy. Date of birth:

Há animais que passam uma vida inteira à espera de uma oportunidade. O Mike está no abrigo desde 2015. Ano após ano, viu muitos companheiros partirem para as suas famílias enquanto ele continuava para trás. Mas, de alguma forma, nunca deixou de acreditar que um dia também chegaria a sua vez. É um cão extremamente tímido e sensível, que ainda enfrenta alguns medos e inseguranças. Precisa de tempo, paciência e de alguém que respeite o seu ritmo. No entanto, quando se sente seguro, encontra coragem para se aproximar e oferece-nos pequenos momentos de confiança que valem ouro. É como se dissesse: “Eu sou capaz de confiar… só preciso de uma oportunidade.” ❤️ Acreditamos que a vida pode sempre voltar a sorrir, mesmo quando a espera é longa.
