Adopt MILA

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 10 months

The two-year-old MILA is a loving, gentle female dog who currently lives in an open dog group and gets along well with her fellow animals there. She is social and tolerant, but needs a bit of security in new or hectic situations. If she feels cornered, she tends to retreat rather than confront. MILA is very affectionate towards people: she is cuddly, seeks proximity, and is strongly oriented towards her trusted humans. Once she has trusted someone, she shows her affectionate and clingy nature. MILA can be rehomed either as a single dog or to an already existing, confident dog that can provide additional orientation – although this is not necessary. She already knows how to drive a car and walks quite well on a leash for her age. In the coming weeks, she will also further get used to life in a house. For MILA, we wish to find a quiet, patient home with people who will give her time to settle in and show her the world with loving consistency. Even motivated dog beginners could be suitable, but should be aware that MILA still needs guidance and security. Who would grant this sensitive, cuddly female dog a loving home?

About MILA

What life with MILA looks like

MILA is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Arche Noah Transilvania e.V. in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting MILA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about MILA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Arche Noah Transilvania e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw MILA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt MILA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Arche Noah Transilvania e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is MILA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if MILA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Arche Noah Transilvania e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know MILA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
