December 2015Location: 63533 Mainhausen Milas was initially a very shy, anxious dog. Through intensive, stress-free affection, he thawed out. He now approaches us on his own and enjoys walks and play sessions. He is extremely curious and peeks around when a bag rustles. His fear and anxiety, especially towards strangers, including cars, bicycles, and particularly men, are only shown through panic attempts to flee and not through aggressive behavior. After living in the shelter for years, it is unlikely that he will ever become a "normal," fear-free dog. However, he deserves the chance to show what a great dog still resides within him. Milas unfortunately only has one eye, but this does not limit him in any way. He even blinks with his non-existent eye. It is, however, sensible to avoid stairs. A dog-experienced female with sovereign "only dog" experience is sought. Men should remain very anxious and only serve as "background figures" and not as primary attachment figures. Dezember 2015Standort: 63533 Mainhausen Milas war anfangs ein sehr scheuer, angstbesetzter Hund. Durch intensive, druckfreie Zuwendung konnte er auftauen. Er kommt mittlerweile von sich selbst auf uns zu und freut sich über Gassigänge und Knuddeleinheiten. Er ist überaus neugierig und schaut bei uns immer um die Ecke, wenn mal eine Tüte raschelt. Seine Angst und Furcht, vor allem Unbekannten, unter anderem Autos, Fahrräder und besonders Männern, zeigt sich nur durch panische Fluchtversuche und keineswegs durch aggressives Verhalten. Nachdem er jahrelang im Shelter lebte wird er wohl nie ein “ normaler“, angstfreier Hund werden. Er verdient jedoch die Chance, zeigen zu können, was für ein toller Hund dennoch in ihm steckt. Milas hat leider nur noch ein Auge, aber das schränkt in keinesfalls ein. Er blinzelt sogar noch mit seinem nicht mehr vorhandenen Auge. Jedoch ist es sinnvoll auf Treppen möglichst zu verzichten. Es wird definitiv eine hundeerfahrene Interessentin mit souveränem Ersthund gesucht.
