adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! Our Minion found a home quickly! His story: Cluj, Romania. Adorable Minion with big puppy eyes is searching for his Forever Family. Minion is approximately two months old and was found on the street with his five siblings. Now the little one, just like his siblings, is searching for a home. Minion is a charming Labradormix-puppy. His big, brown eyes captivate everyone. The little guy is still a bit shy at the beginning, but he warms up just as quickly and shows that the past months have only made him stronger. With his dreamy gaze, he can make you forget about everyday life. Minion wants to forget about everyday life and the past just as much. That's why we wish for a loving family for the little one, where he can finally feel at home. Where he can finally arrive and feel safe. Too much has already happened to him in just two months. As Minion is still a puppy, he wishes for a family that patiently goes through the puppy lessons with him and practices them. Sometimes, a little mishap might happen, but in such cases, he hopes that you won't take it personally and that you always guide him with a positive and supportive training style. He dreams of his new life, with many long walks with his new favorite people, countless cozy cuddle hours, and a visit to a positively working puppy school to learn a lot of new things with like-minded companions. Minion travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with an EU pet passport to his new home. The little guy would also be very happy to be placed in a foster home for the handsome young man. Would you bring his puppy eyes to a gleam and give Minion a home full of security? Many thanks, Silvie S.! You gave Minion his sweet name!

Vielen Dank Silvie S.! Du hast Minion seinen süßen Namen geschenkt!

About Minion

What life with Minion looks like

Minion is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Minion, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Minion?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Minion on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Minion if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Minion already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Minion isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Minion and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
