Miriam, born approximately September 2022, spayed, approximately 50cm shoulder height, in the shelter since October 2022 Miriam was found abandoned as a puppy with her siblings on a field and owes her life to Maria. Her siblings were all able to leave for their families, but Miriam did not get this chance and has since become a timid and reserved dog. Unfortunately, it is very clear that she had little human contact and therefore could not develop trust. Miriam is not for everyone, as it is not possible to turn back time and give her the missed experiences at the right time. It is impossible to predict how she will develop in a home, so it is essential that her future family has no expectations of her and can live with the possibility that Miriam may never lead a dog life like other dogs. At least a confident first dog, as well as a securely fenced garden with direct access to the house, are therefore basic requirements. Since Miriam has only poor placement chances, we would be very happy if someone would take a sponsorship for her. Currently located in Romania and allowed to leave if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at their arrival in the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 03/2023 Futterpatenschaft: Juliane Z. Tierarztpatenschaft: - Miriam, geboren ca. 09/2022, kastriert, ca. 50cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 10/2022 Miriam wurde als Welpe gemeinsam mit ihren Geschwistern ausgesetzt auf einem Feld gefunden und hat es Maria zu verdanken, noch am Leben zu sein. Ihre Geschwister durften alle bereits zu ihren Familien ausreisen, nur Miriam bekam diese Chance nicht und ist mittlerweile zu einer ängstlichen und zurückhaltenden Hündin geworden. Leider zeigt sich bei ihr sehr deutlich, dass sie zu wenig Menschenkontakt hatte und daher kein Vertrauen entwickeln konnte. Miriam ist nicht für jeden etwas, denn es ist nicht möglich, die Zeit zurückzudrehen und ihr die verpassten Erfahrungen zum richtigen Zeitpunkt zu geben. Wie sie sich in einem Zuhause entwickelt, können wir nicht vorhersagen. Wichtig ist also, dass ihre zukünftige Familie keinerlei Erwartungshaltung an sie hat und schlimmstenfalls damit leben kann, dass Miriam nie ein Hundeleben führen wird, wie es andere Hunde tun. Mindestens ein souveräner Ersthund, sowie ein sicher eingezäunter Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Haus sind daher Grundvoraussetzungen. Da Miriam nur schlechte Vermittlungschancen hat, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn jemand eine Patenschaft für sie übernimmt. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn sie ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
