adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! The sweet Miss Marple with the fluffy fur, is a young female dog with a bright, intelligent look that immediately catches the eye. She appears attentive, observing much and taking her surroundings in with great detail—and at the same time, she embodies what makes a young dog: curiosity, playfulness, and the joy of discovering new things. Together with her sister Kessie, she was abandoned and initially spotted near a construction site. The situation was completely new and daunting for the two, so they didn’t settle easily at first. Only after a few days, when they could calm down, did it become possible to bring them to safety. Since then, Miss Marple has become increasingly open. With each day, she gains more trust and orientates herself very well towards people. Her development is clearly visible, from being cautious and reserved to a young female dog that seeks connection and becomes curious. When she was secured off the street, she was already about six months old and weighed around 10 kg. She is expected to be medium-sized, with a height of approximately 55-60 cm. Due to her appearance, we cannot rule out her having guardian or herding dog genes. Miss Marple could be a Mioritic-Mix, a very popular breed. In interactions with other dogs, she is social and well-tempered. She observes much and finds additional security in contact with other dogs. Whether she is compatible with cats, we cannot say at the moment. Miss Marple has not yet experienced life in a home. Everyday things like leash handling, house training, or getting to know new sounds and routines still lie ahead of her. With patience, clear structure, and loving guidance, she will find her way. Attending a positively working dog training class could be of great help to her. For Miss Marple, we wish for a more rural home, preferably with a garden. Small children should not live in the household, as this would greatly unsettle them. Miss Marple is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated and brings her EU pet passport. She is already neutered and can be matched. Who would like to show this young female dog that she can rely on people? Many thanks to her namesake Gaby R. You have given Miss Marple her name. Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Miss Marple

What life with Miss Marple looks like

Miss Marple is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Miss Marple, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Miss Marple?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Miss Marple on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Miss Marple if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Miss Marple already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Miss Marple isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Miss Marple and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
