We gave this lovely lady, who is approximately 4 years old, the name Misty. Misty is an incredibly loving and gentle girl. She enjoys attention immensely and gives the sweetest headbutts while she runs around loudly. However, Misty is initially a bit shy. She prefers to first watch the cat from the tree and finds direct approach a bit daunting. But if you take a little time to win her over with some treats, you can easily win her heart. Because Misty is still a bit shy, she also doesn’t fully give herself over during cuddles. Probably, when she settles in and builds a bond with her new people, her character will become much more affectionate and cozy. Misty finds the presence of other cats just so-so, and we expect her to prefer having the house to herself. Misty does best in a reasonably quiet household. A household with a few older children would also be suitable. Misty would prefer to live as an indoor cat, or in a home with a fenced yard or balcony.

Deze knappe dame van ongeveer 4 jaar jong hebben we de naam Misty gegeven. Misty is een ongelooflijk lief en zachtaardig meisje. Ze geniet intens van aandacht en geeft dan ook de liefste kopjes terwijl ze luidkeels spint. Wel is Misty in eerste instantie wat verlegen. Ze kijkt dan ook het liefste eerst de kat uit de boom en vindt directe benadering soms nog wat spannend. Maar als je even de tijd voor haar neemt en haar verleidt met lekkers, win je zomaar haar hart. Omdat Misty nog wat verlegen is, durft ze zich tijdens het knuffelen ook nog niet volledig over te geven. Waarschijnlijk zal haar karakter nog veel aanhankelijker en gezelliger blijken wanneer ze helemaal op haar plek is en een band heeft kunnen opbouwen met haar nieuwe mensen. Misty vindt de aanwezigheid van andere katten maar zozo en we verwachten dan ook dat ze het huis het liefste voor zichzelf heeft. Misty komt het best tot haar recht in een redelijk rustig huishouden. Een huishouden met wat oudere kinderen zou ook zeker geschikt zijn. Misty komt het liefste te wonen als binnenkat, of een woning met een afgezette tuin of balkon.
