He is a friendly, active and very people-oriented dog. With his cheerful look, beautiful brown eyes and his pretty tricolor pattern, he is also visually a real charmer. As a hunting dog mix, he brings a lot of energy with him, which is why we are looking for people who like to be out and about with their dog and enjoy appropriate physical and mental exercise. Unfortunately, the young man also has two health issues. He was diagnosed with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) via TLI blood test. He therefore needs digestive enzymes and a suitable food for his meals. He is currently well adjusted. In addition, he was diagnosed with dirofilariasis (heartworm). He has already completed the full treatment with Immiticide and antibiotics. The scheduled follow-up test is in July 2027. The medical records and blood test results will of course be provided. His search is particularly urgent due to the upcoming winter. He currently lives in a outside box in his foster home. The winters in Croatia can be very cold and frosty - and especially for him, such accommodation is particularly problematic. Due to his pancreatic insufficiency, he already has difficulties in keeping his weight and body temperature optimal. Therefore, we are looking for a foster home or a final home as soon as possible, where he will not have to spend the coming winter outside, but finally get a warm, protected place. His diagnoses are part of his history - but they don't tell the whole story about him. Behind them is a young, lively and people-oriented dog who wants to play, be out and about, enjoy closeness and finally arrive properly. Er zeigt sich als freundlicher, aktiver und sehr menschenbezogener Hund. Mit seinem fröhlichen Blick, den wunderschönen braunen Augen und seiner hübschen dreifarbigen Zeichnung ist er auch optisch ein echter Charmeur. Als Jagdhund-Mix bringt er ordentlich Energie mit, weshalb wir uns für ihn Menschen wünschen, die gerne mit ihrem Hund unterwegs sind und Freude an einer artgerechten körperlichen und geistigen Auslastung haben. Leider bringt der junge Mann auch zwei gesundheitliche Baustellen mit. Bei ihm wurde mittels TLI-Bluttest eine exokrine Pankreasinsuffizienz (EPI) diagnostiziert. Er benötigt deshalb zu seinen Mahlzeiten dauerhaft entsprechende Verdauungsenzyme sowie ein für ihn geeignetes Futter. Damit ist er derzeit gut eingestellt. Außerdem wurde bei ihm Dirofilariose (Herzwurm) festgestellt. Die vollständige Behandlung mit Immiticide und Antibiotika hat er bereits hinter sich. Der planmäßige Kontrolltest steht im Juli 2027 an. Die medizinischen Unterlagen und Blutbefunde werden selbstverständlich zur Verfügung gestellt. Besonders dringend wird seine Suche nun durch den bevorstehenden Winter. Derzeit lebt er in seiner Pflegestelle in einer Außenbox. Die Winter in Kroatien können sehr kalt und frostig werden – und gerade für ihn ist eine solche Unterbringung besonders problematisch. Durch seine Pankreasinsuffizienz hat er ohnehin Schwierigkeiten, sein Gewicht und seine Körpertemperatur optimal zu halten. Deshalb suchen wir möglichst bald eine Pflegestelle oder ein endgültiges Zuhause, in dem er den kommenden Winter nicht draußen verbringen muss, sondern endlich einen warmen, geschützten Platz bekommt. Seine Diagnosen gehören zu seiner Geschichte – aber sie erzählen längst nicht alles über ihn. Hinter ihnen steckt ein junger, lebensfroher und menschenbezogener Hund, der spielen, unterwegs sein, Nähe genießen und endlich richtig ankommen möchte.
