Molly

English Bulldog Β· Female Β· Adult Β· 5 years

Introduction: Molly is a loving, cheeky and affectionate girl who has stolen the hearts of everyone here! After six months of waiting, we can't understand why this special girl hasn't found her forever home. She's full of character and has so much love to give once she gets to know you! She's a small frenchie weighing just 10kg. Home wanted: Molly would love a calm and patient home with an interesting garden to explore and people around to keep her company. She needs some patience with house training and car travel but has already made great progress. Behaviour towards people / children: Molly has made lots of human friends here but can sometimes feel unsure around people and prefer to avoid them. We recommend a home with older teenagers, with visiting children potentially possible once she's settled. Other animals: Molly will need to be the only pet in the home, as she can feel worried around unfamiliar dogs. She would enjoy peaceful walks in quieter locations. Additional needs: Molly is clever, loves learning and has quickly picked up fun training cues. She's a real character who will keep you smiling! She just needs someone willing to give her a chance and help her blossom into the wonderful companion we know she can be.

About Molly

What life with Molly looks like

Molly is a small adult english bulldog dog waiting at Raystede Centre in Ringmer.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" β€” quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures β€” to let them settle.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Molly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Molly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Raystede Centre handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Molly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Molly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Raystede Centre will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Molly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Molly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Raystede Centre early rather than rehoming privately; they know Molly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
