Their owner unfortunately could no longer care for them and there was no other solution for them than to stay in the animal shelter. We have observed them sufficiently and gotten to know the treasures, so we can now look for a nice new home for them. If there is a spot for them together, that would be wonderful, but they can also be adopted separately. Moppie is still young, came from a broodline, and has probably not seen much of the world yet. We notice a lot of insecurities and fears about new things, sounds, and situations, and also walking on a leash is something she has not learned yet and finds very scary. Approaching her or coming too quickly to her also causes insecurity, so she tends to retreat a bit. She is, however, very friendly towards people once they get to know her and feels very free around Roxanne, she seeks a lot of contact with her, bumps into her, and tumbles over her. And Roxanne? She tolerates everything that Moppie does and is incredibly patient with her. As long as Roxanne can snuggle in the lap, she is fine with everything. A big hobby of Moppie is playing. She also plays very nicely on her own and can keep herself occupied. She picks up the toys in her mouth, runs around with them, throws them, and takes them to her basket and into the lap. You can also play with her. She also likes meat. She doesn't know any commands, but she wiggles her whole body when you have meat. To be able to continue all activities, Moppie needs a BOS operation. Shortening her muzzle and enlarging her nostrils is necessary to get enough air. We are looking for people who take this picture into account during adoption and have her operated on in the near future. We are looking for a family with a house and garden for Moppie from which walking can be built up. She can be placed together with Roxanne, but her separate placement and eventual matching with another dog also belong to the possibilities. She needs some time and peace to get to know another dog, but once she feels good, the other dog will have to be an energy bomb to be liked. Hun eigenaar kon helaas niet meer voor ze zorgen en er was geen andere oplossing voor ze dan in het asiel te blijven. Wij hebben ze ondertussen voldoende kunnen observeren en de schatjes leren kennen waardoor we op zoek kunnen gaan naar een fijn nieuw thuis voor hen. Mocht er een plekje voor hen samen zijn, dan zou dit heel fijn zijn, maar ze kunnen ook apart van elkaar geadopteerd worden. Moppie is nog jong, komt van de broodfok en heeft verder waarschijnlijk nog niet veel van de wereld gezien. We merken veel onzekerheden en angsten bij nieuwe dingen, geluiden en situaties en ook wandelen aan de riem heeft ze nog niet geleerd en vindt ze erg eng. Ook naar haar reiken of te snel naar haar toe komen zorgt voor onzekerheid bij haar waardoor ze wat van je weggaat. Ze is gelukkig wel heel vriendelijk naar mensen als ze hen even leert kennen en voelt zich erg vrij naar Roxanne, ze zoekt veel contact met haar, beukt wat tegen haar en tuimelt over haar heen. En Roxanne? Die vindt alles best wat Moppie doet en tolereert enorm veel van haar. Als Roxanne maar kan knuffelen in de zetel, vindt ze alles best. Een grote hobby van Moppie is spelen. Ze speelt ook heel leuk in haar eentje en kan zich prachtig zelf bezig houden. Ze pakt de speeltjes in haar bek, rent ermee rond, gooit ermee en neemt ze mee in de mand en zetel. Je mag ook met haar meespelen. Vleesjes vindt ze ook wel lekker. Ze kent geen commando’s, maar kwispelt wel met haar hele lijf wanneer je vleesjes vast hebt. Om alle activiteiten goed te kunnen blijven doen heeft Moppie een BOS-operatie nodig. Het inkorten van haar huig en het vergroten van haar neusgaten is nodig om voldoende adem te krijgen. We zoeken mensen die dit plaatje bij de adoptie erbij nemen en haar in de nabije toekomst laten opereren. We zoeken voor Moppie een gezin met een huis en tuin van waaruit het wandelen opgebouwd kan worden. Ze kan samen geplaatst worden met Roxanne, maar haar apart plaatsen en eventueel matchen met een andere hond behoort ook tot de mogelijkheden. Ze heeft wel wat tijd en rust nodig om een andere hond te leren kennen, maar eens ze zich goed voelt zal de andere hond een energie-bommetje leuk moeten vinden.
