adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Mrs. Bean has found her home! Her story: Abandoned and left to fend for herself. A fate that many of our Romanian shelter companions share. Time and time again, we are amazed and sad when we look into the warm, but helpless eyes of the cute little fur noses, as we can only guess the suffering they must have endured. Our magical Mrs. Bean, rescued together with her sister Nahla and mother Avani from the streets, currently sits in a rather cramped shelter and waits for a life full of love and care. With a height of approximately 43 cm, the sweet little fur nose is a medium-sized female dog at the end of her puberty. The pretty mouse with the hopeful and loyal look is described by our helpers on site as friendly, approachable, and playful. The lessons of the Dog 1×1 should be gradually repeated or learned by Mrs. Bean in her forever home. A well-socialized first dog can then happily be by her side. Since she currently lives in the shelter with a cat, we assume that she gets along well with indoor cats in general. Given her size, extended walks and freedom to move are optimal, because Mr. Bean wants to run, explore, and sniff. A cozy bed for the evening and night hours would be the main prize – our sweetness will thank it with a loving gaze and contented slurping. How wonderful it would be if Mrs. Bean could finally start a dignified and fulfilling dog life. Her luggage is already packed. She brings her EU pet passport, is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and spayed. And she can stay positive. Mrs. Bean would initially be very happy to have a foster home. Has our wonderful snuggly ball of fur catapulted into your heart? Many thanks, Antje! You have given Mrs. Bean her name! Date: 03.08.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank Antje! Du hast Mrs. Bean ihren Namen geschenkt! About Mrs. Bean

What life with Mrs. Bean looks like

Mrs. Bean is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mrs. Bean, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mrs. Bean?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mrs. Bean on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mrs. Bean if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mrs. Bean already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mrs. Bean isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mrs. Bean and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
