Initially, he was just taken in for treatment with the hope of finding him a new home, as long-haired cats without a home suffer greatly without care. However, given his shy nature, it wasn't easy to find a solution. As time passed, Muffin transformed into one of the most striking cats we have here. His long, thick, soft fur will charm you at first glance. He's not a small cat, but a proper man, and love will pour into him all the more. Today, Muffin is already friendly, well-groomed, and a comfortable tomcat, just needing a little patience and he's yours. You won't believe it, but suddenly you'll realize that beneath the shell of the initially uncertain fighter is actually a sweetheart who will snuggle up to your lap and purr whenever you're nearby. Muffin is a companion to other feline friends and would like to have another cat at home; he wouldn't be happy as an only cat, ideally of a similar age, for example, not for elderly cats. A home is sought exclusively as a home, with screened windows/balconies with sturdy cat screens (insects are not enough, he's an climber), cat litter, and proper care. Not suitable for small children, he doesn't feel comfortable with them at all. This animal needs to be the only pet in the home.

Původně jen na léčení s pokusem najít mu nový domov, jelikož dlouhosrsté kočičky bez domova velmi trpí bez péče. S ohledem na jeho plachou povahu se však hned nepodařilo. Jak plyne čas, z Muffinka se vyklubal jeden z nejvíc oslňujících kocourků u nás. Jeho dlouhý, hustý, jemný kožíšek vás okouzlí na první pohled. Není to žádný drobeček, ale pořádný kus chlapa, o to víc lásky se do něj vleze. Dnes je Muffin už přátelský, vymazlený, pohodový kocourek, kterému stačí jen trochu trpělivosti a je váš. Ani se nenadáte, a najednou zjistíte, že pod tou slupkou zpočátku nejistého bojínka je vlastně ultramazlík, který se vám rád stočí na klíně a bude vrnět o stošest kdykoliv budete nablízku. Muffin je parťák i s dalšími kočičími kamarády a tak by rád doma nějakého měl, jako jedináček by nebyl šťastný, ideálně věkově podobně, ke kočičím důchodcům např. úplně ne. Domov hledá výhradně jako domácí, se zasíťovanými okny/balkonem pevnými kočičími sítěmi (hmyzí nestačí, je horolezec), kočičím zázemím, správnou péčí. K malým dětem ne, necítí se s nimi vůbec dobře.
