Adopt Mütyi-3

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 5 months

Origin Country: Hungary Mütyi, the little female, was found on March 19, 2026, in a roadside ditch in Kecskemét, and kind people informed the animal shelter. Despite not having been on this earth for long, she was already unwanted and cast out, and her life could have started much better, as no one missed this puppy. Nevertheless, she had a stroke of luck, as it could have turned out differently for her. Although the animal shelter is not the ideal place for a puppy, Mütyi gets the chance to live a life as a beloved family member here. She just needs to be discovered by her human family. Our fingers are crossed. Mütyi shows herself to be a lively, playful, cheerful, and inquisitive little puppy, even if new situations can sometimes intimidate her. Mütyi is of course still very green and needs to be patiently taught everything a puppy needs to know for a future life as a family dog. This includes a loving but also consistent upbringing, which gives Mütyi the framework to develop. She brings excellent preconditions to become a wonderful and faithful companion that will bring joy to her human family. She likes it when she is spoiled with cuddles and when she gets time and attention. Mütyi gets along well with her fellow animals and lives in a group of puppy children. For our beloved Mütyi, we are looking for loving and enthusiastic dog lovers who are aware of the work, time, and patience they need to invest in a puppy or young dog and who will take responsibility for the next few years. A loving family that will always welcome her. On her daily program should be: varied and exciting walks, age-appropriate mental stimulation and enrichment, play, fun, plenty of snuggling, cuddling, enough quiet phases, and many wonderful shared experiences. A visit to a puppy or young dog school would certainly bring her a lot of joy. A lonely puppy child is looking for family connection! Currently, she is still too young for spaying, which must be done by her new owners when she is old enough. Her estimated end size is 38-48cm and end weight is 8-15kg. On April 3, 2026, Mütyi was 29cm and 3.9kg. On May 4, 2026, Mütyi was 35cm and 6.3kg. Mütyi may travel to a foster home in Switzerland in late May 2026.

About Mütyi-3

What life with Mütyi-3 looks like

Mütyi-3 is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mütyi-3, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mütyi-3?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mütyi-3 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mütyi-3 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mütyi-3 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mütyi-3 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mütyi-3 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
