Our team member Dorel received a tip that for several days a small injured female dog had been lying motionless by the roadside. Without hesitation, he immediately went to check and found a completely emaciated and dehydrated small female dog that had hardly any strength left. On the spot, Dorel first provided her with water and food before taking her straight to the vet. There it became clear how serious her injuries really were: Nannis right hip socket is broken and the head of the femur is protruding. We are currently waiting for an appointment with a specialist so that the urgently needed operation can be performed. Despite everything, Nanni shows every day what a little fighter she is. The approximately 2-year-old and about 20 cm tall female dog is currently living in a foster home in Romania and is already making progress. Even without surgery, she is now standing on her own again and walking a few steps on her own. The vets are optimistic that Nanni will have little or no long-term limitations after the operation. However, she will need physiotherapy afterwards so that she can get back on her feet as best as possible. Visually, Nanni resembles a Maltese mix. She has soft white fur and big black eyes that touch you immediately. In terms of character, Nanni is simply adorable. She meets people openly and friendly, and also patiently and bravely endured everything at the vet. She is also social and easy-going with the other dogs in her foster home. For Nanni we wish people with big hearts who give her the time to fully recover and settle in after her operation. She probably hasn't experienced much beauty in her life so far - which is why we now hope for a home where she can finally experience love, care and security. Nanni hatte großes Glück, dass sie rechtzeitig gefunden wurde. Unser Teammitglied Dorel erhielt den Hinweis, dass seit mehreren Tagen eine kleine verletzte Hündin bewegungslos am Straßenrand liegen würde. Ohne zu zögern machte er sich sofort auf den Weg – und fand dort eine völlig abgemagerte und dehydrierte kleine Hündin vor, die kaum noch Kraft hatte. Noch vor Ort versorgte Dorel sie zunächst mit Wasser und Futter, bevor es direkt weiter zum Tierarzt ging. Dort zeigte sich, wie schwer ihre Verletzungen wirklich sind: Nannis rechte Hüftgelenkspfanne ist gebrochen und der Oberschenkelkopf steht hervor. Aktuell warten wir auf einen Termin bei einem Spezialisten, damit die dringend benötigte Operation durchgeführt werden kann. Trotz allem zeigt Nanni jeden Tag, was für eine kleine Kämpferin sie ist. Die etwa 2 Jahre alte und ca. 20 cm große Hündin lebt derzeit auf einer rumänischen Pflegestelle und macht bereits jetzt Fortschritte. Selbst ohne Operation steht sie inzwischen wieder selbstständig auf und läuft bereits ein paar Schritte alleine. Die Tierärzte sind guter Dinge, dass Nanni nach der Operation nur wenig bis gar keine dauerhaften Einschränkungen haben wird. Allerdings wird sie im Anschluss Physiotherapie benötigen, damit sie bestmöglich wieder auf die Beine kommt. Optisch erinnert Nanni an einen Malteser-Mix. Sie hat weiches weißes Fell und große schwarze Augen, die einen sofort berühren. Charakterlich ist Nanni einfach nur liebenswert. Menschen begegnet sie offen und freundlich, und auch beim Tierarzt hat sie alles geduldig und brav über sich ergehen lassen. Mit den anderen Hunden in ihrer Pflegestelle zeigt sie sich ebenfalls sozial und unkompliziert. Für Nanni wünschen wir uns Menschen mit großem Herzen, die ihr die Zeit geben, sich nach ihrer Operation vollständig zu erholen und in Ruhe anzukommen. Sie hat in ihrem Leben vermutlich bisher nicht viel Schönes erfahren dürfen – umso mehr wünschen wir uns nun ein Zuhause, in dem sie endlich Liebe, Fürsorge und Geborgenheit kennenlernen darf. Nanni beweist jeden Tag aufs Neue, wie viel Lebenswillen in ihr steckt. Jetzt fehlt ihr nur noch die Familie, die sie auf ihrem weiteren Weg begleitet und bereit ist, sie auch während der Physiotherapie liebevoll zu unterstützen. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr kann Nanni kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis in ihr neues Leben reisen.
