As a puppy, she had to fend for herself as a stray until she was rescued – perhaps that’s why she savors every bit of affection today. Despite her tough start in life, Nelly is incredibly friendly, curious, and social. Nelly is probably a herding dog mix. This means that a watchful, clever, and independent character lies within her. Herding dogs were originally bred to protect their family or herd without being aggressive. These traits make Nelly a particularly loyal companion who is attentive to her surroundings and loves her people with calmness and consideration. She needs people who understand her wise, sensitive nature and can give her clear, loving guidance. She gets along well with other dogs and would therefore also be perfect as a second dog. She shows openness and affection to people without being pushy. Nelly loves to discover new things and would be happy with a home where she can continue to explore the world – together with her people. Trotz ihres schweren Starts ins Leben ist Nelly unglaublich freundlich, neugierig und sozial. Nelly ist wahrscheinlich ein Herdenschutzhund-Mix. Das bedeutet, dass in ihr ein wachsamer, kluger und selbstständiger Charakter steckt.
