Nelson was found on Mikovíni Street in Košice, lying near the containers. He probably came from Luník IX. Upon arriving at the shelter, he was very stressed and afraid of everything. He just needed time to get used to things and realize that no one wanted to hurt him. Now he is much more relaxed and cheerful dog, ready to find his real home. Nelson is nice, friendly, and very affectionate. He likes people regardless - he immediately becomes friends with everyone. He loves movement, chasing games, and playing, from which pure joy radiates. He likes to draw attention with barking and doesn't like being alone. He needs company, movement, and activities that keep his smart head occupied. He is sensitive and intelligent dog, who will be a great companion for trips, hiking, and everyday adventures. He gets along with other dogs according to his preferences and has no problems with female dogs. Handling is usually trouble-free, but it is necessary to use a muzzle during veterinary procedures. Nelson is ideal for an active family or individual who have space for a dog in their life - time, love, and patience. We are looking for a home for him ideally in a family house with access to the yard and a well-insulated kennel. However, he can also get used to living in an apartment with sufficient exercise.

Nelson sa našiel na ulici Mikovíniho v Košiciach, kde ležal pri kontajneroch. Pravdepodobne pochádzal z Luníka IX. Po príchode do útulku bol veľmi vystresovaný a všetkého sa bál. Potreboval len čas, aby si zvykol a pochopil, že mu už nikto nechce ublížiť. Teraz je z neho oveľa uvoľnenejší a veselší psík, pripravený nájsť si svoj skutočný domov. Nelson je milý, priateľský a veľmi prítulný. Ľudí má rád bez rozdielu – s každým sa hneď skamaráti. Miluje pohyb, naháňačky a bláznenie, pri ktorom z neho srší čistá radosť. Rád na seba upozorňuje štekaním a samotu nemá v láske. Potrebuje spoločnosť, pohyb a aktivity, ktoré zamestnajú jeho múdru hlavičku. Je to vnímavý a učenlivý psík, ktorý bude skvelým parťákom na výlety, turistiku aj každodenné dobrodružstvá. So psami vychádza podľa sympatií a s fenkami vychádza bez problémov. Manipulácia je v bežných situáciách bezproblémová, pri veterinárnych úkonoch je však potrebné použiť náhubok. Nelson je ideálny pre aktívnu rodinu alebo jednotlivca, ktorí majú vo svojom živote miesto pre psíka – čas, lásku a trpezlivosť. Domov mu hľadáme ideálne v rodinnom dome s prístupom dnu a kvalitnou zateplenou búdou. Pri dostatočnom pohybe si však zvykne aj na život v byte.
