Neo

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

Meet Neo – A Confident Character Ready to Steal Your Heart Neo has already experienced more change than any rabbit should. Before coming into our care, he had moved between several homes and was most recently handed in after only four weeks, when the child in the household quickly lost interest. Despite this unsettled start, Neo hasn’t let his past define him. Instead, he has shown just how adaptable, trusting, and full of personality he truly is. We’re unsure of Neo’s exact age, but we don’t believe he is more than a couple of years old. He is a larger boy, likely with some giant breed influence somewhere in his background — something you’ll notice straight away in his beautifully big ears. He’s a striking, handsome rabbit with a confident presence to match. From the moment Neo arrived, he settled in incredibly quickly. He is an outgoing, curious, and self-assured rabbit who genuinely enjoys human company. Neo loves gentle head strokes and is always interested in what’s happening around him. He’ll happily hop over to investigate, say hello, and seek out attention. His friendly and engaging nature makes him a joy to spend time with. Neo is also an agile rabbit who enjoys climbing and has quickly discovered that the top of his kennel makes an excellent vantage point. Because of this, he would be best suited to a dedicated rabbit room if living indoors, rather than a pen-style enclosure, as he would likely find ways to jump out. He would also be very happy living outdoors in a suitable predator-proof enclosure with plenty of space to explore. Since being neutered, Neo has been doing really well with his litter training and is becoming increasingly tidy in his accommodation. With continued consistency in his new home, this progress should continue. What Neo Needs Neo is looking for a home where he can be bonded with an existing female rabbit. He has the confidence, personality, and charm to make a wonderful companion and would make an amazing addition for anyone searching for a handsome, friendly husbun. He will thrive in a home where he has plenty of space, enrichment, and the opportunity to interact with his guardians on his own terms. Could You Offer Neo the Home He Deserves? Neo may have had a disrupted start, but he’s ready to settle into a stable, loving home where he can truly belong. With his confident nature, striking looks, and affectionate personality, he has so much to offer. If you’re looking for a friendly, outgoing companion for your existing rabbit, Neo could be the perfect match. Could you be the one to give Neo the secure and loving forever home he’s been waiting for? Important Adoption Information Before completing a pre-adoption form, please take a moment to review our minimum adoption requirements and terms and conditions. These outline the space and care standards needed to ensure every rabbit in our care moves to a home where they can truly thrive. If adjustments are needed, we’re always happy to offer guidance — our goal is to support you in creating a suitable environment before adoption.

About Neo

What life with Neo looks like

Neo is a extra-large young adult mixed breed rabbit waiting at Nibbles Rodent and Rabbit Rescue in United Kingdom.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Neo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Neo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Nibbles Rodent and Rabbit Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Neo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Neo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Nibbles Rodent and Rabbit Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Neo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most rabbits on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Neo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Nibbles Rodent and Rabbit Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Neo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
