After a short adjustment period, she has shown her calm and relaxed nature. Nia purrs, "talks" to her trusted people, and actively demands cuddles. She is compatible with other cats. Whether she gets along with dogs is still unknown. Nia was found in Zalau. Initially, it was thought she might be pregnant, but it turned out she was just very overweight. With proper nutrition and active play sessions, this should be resolved quickly. Due to her age and life on the streets, she is missing many teeth, but this does not prevent her from eating both dry and wet food without any issues. Her blood values and internal organs are normal, as the vet confirmed after an examination. Nia could also live as an outdoor cat in a safe area once she has properly adjusted, but she would also be happy as an indoor cat if given plenty of playtime and varied incentives. Before the beloved cat moves into her new home, she, like all our cats and tomcats, will be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. Ihre Geschichte: Nia ist eine etwa 7 – 8 Jahre alte Katze, die aktuell in einer Pflegestelle wohnt. Sie hat nach einer kurzen Eingewöhnungszeit ihr ruhiges und entspanntes Wesen gezeigt. Nia schnurrt, „redet“ mit ihren Bezugspersonen und fordert aktiv Streicheleinheiten ein. Sie ist verträglich mit anderen Katzen. Ob sie sich mit Hunden versteht, ist noch unbekannt. Nia wurde in Zalau gefunden. Zunächst nahm man an, sie sei schwanger, aber es stellte sich heraus, dass sie nur sehr dick war. Durch die richtige Ernährung und aktive Spieleinheiten sollte das aber schnell wieder in den Griff zu bekommen sein. Aufgrund ihres Alters und des Lebens auf der Straße fehlen ihr viele Zähne, was sie jedoch nicht daran hindert, sowohl Trocken- als auch Nassfutter problemlos zu essen. Ihre Blutwerte und inneren Organe sind unauffällig, wie der Tierarzt nach einer Untersuchung feststellte. Nia könnte in einer sicheren Gegend auch als Freigängerin leben, wenn sie sich richtig eingelebt hat. Wäre sicher aber auch als reine Wohnungskatze glücklich, wenn man viel mit ihr spielt und ihr abwechslungsreiche Anreize bietet. Bevor die liebe Katze in ihr neues Zuhause umzieht, wird sie, wie all unsere Katzen und Kater, kastriert, gechippt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Auf FIV und FeLV wurde sie bereits negativ getestet und packt auch ihren EU-Heimtierausweis ins Köfferchen.
