Nobi

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 6 years

Breed: Mix. Gender: Male. Date of birth: May 2020. Height: 50 cm. Weight: 16 kg In a shelter from: May 2025Family in the shelter: No family! We found Nobi in May 2025 near a local landfill. He was severely underweight, exhausted, and suffering from serious skin problems. He had a long road to recovery ahead of him, but with the professional care of our veterinarians, plenty of love, and patience, Nobi slowly began to heal and show his true personality. Today, Nobi has settled in wonderfully with a group of adult dogs. He is gentle, quiet, and undemanding. He is still a little cautious around people, but his curiosity and desire for companionship show that he is ready to build trust and form meaningful bonds. Nobi doesn’t need much — just someone who will give him the time he needs to relax, feel safe, and understand that he never has to be alone again. We are looking for a loving home filled with patience and understanding, where Nobi can continue to build confidence and finally experience the life he deserves. Nobi had a difficult start in life, but his story is far from over. Maybe you could be the most beautiful chapter of it.

About Nobi

What life with Nobi looks like

Nobi is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Rescue Bosnia in Bosnia.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇧🇦Adopting from Bosnia and Herzegovina

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nobi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nobi?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Rescue Bosnia handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nobi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nobi if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Rescue Bosnia will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Nobi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nobi isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Rescue Bosnia early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nobi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
