She and her husband had taken over two dogs from acquaintances who had to give up their pets due to a move. What the couple taking in the dogs didn't realize—and hadn't even considered—was that the female dog was pregnant and had just given birth to the two puppies. The shelter director, Kata, agreed to take in the puppies but made it a condition that the parents be spayed or neutered as soon as possible. The male puppy has already been neutered; the female will be spayed as soon as it’s feasible. Little Nova and her brother Toffee are friendly, approachable, and curious puppies—but they’re still somewhat unsure, as they haven’t experienced much so far, having lived until now only with their parents in the fenced-in area of the garden. Nova is the one who’s a bit more reserved. They’ll certainly continue to develop and thrive at the shelter, but it’s still crucial that they move into a proper home as soon as possible and receive appropriate socialization. We’re now looking for adventurous people with dog experience who are ready to embark on the “puppy adventure”—with all that entails: playing, cuddling, romping around, but also providing consistent and loving training. Mitte Juni 2026 kontaktierte eine Frau das Tierheim mit der Bitte, 2 Welpen aufzunehmen. Sie und ihr Mann hatten 2 Hunde von Bekannten übernommen, die aufgrund eines Umzugs ihre Hunde abgeben mussten. Was das übernehmende Paar nicht ahnte (oder sich keine Gedanken dazu gemacht hatte), war, dass die Hündin tragend war und eben die beiden Welpen bekam. Die Tierheimleiterin Kata willigte ein, die Hundekinder aufzunehmen, machte es aber zur Bedingung, dass die Eltern so schnell wie möglich kastriert werden. Der Rüde ist es nun bereits, die Hündin wird es, sobald diese möglich ist. Die kleine Nova und ihr Bruder Toffee sind freundliche, zugewandte und neugierige Welpen, die aber auch noch unsicher sind, da sie bisher noch nicht viel kennengelernt haben, lebten sie doch bislang nur mit ihren Eltern in dem eingezäunten Bereich des Gartens. Nova ist dabei die noch etwas Zaghaftere. Sie werden sich im Tierheim sicherlich schon weiterentwickeln, aber dennoch ist es wichtig, dass sie nun so schnell wie möglich in ein richtiges Zuhause umziehen und entsprechend sozialisiert werden. Für diese entzückenden Geschwister suchen wir nun unternehmungslustige Menschen mit Hundeerfahrung, die sich auf das Abenteuer „Welpe“ einlassen möchte – mit allem was dazugehört: spielen, schmusen, toben aber natürlich auch eine konsequente und liebevolle Erziehung. Bitte bedenken Sie zudem, dass ein Welpe die ersten Monate ein Vollzeitjob ist und 24 Stunden Betreuung braucht. Dies muss bei einer möglichen Adoption gewährleistet sein.
