Adopt Olga-3

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 3 months

Country of origin: Hungary Unfortunately, the unwanted offspring continues in 2026. The sweet sisters Olga, Olivi and Okarina were found abandoned in the municipality of Lajosmizse on April 20, 2026. They were lucky in misfortune, as they were discovered by kind people and taken to the animal shelter, where they hope to be seen by their new families soon and start a new, happy life. We are sending our best wishes to the trio that they can exchange Menhely for a responsible and wonderful home soon. Olga, Olivi and Okarina do not need to be rehomed together. Fortunately, the sisters have survived their involuntary "adventure" well and have not had any further bad experiences so far. They are playful, curious, sociable, cheerful, affectionate, agile and ready for any mischief, every day more so. New situations can sometimes intimidate them, but quickly the childlike curiosity and daring prevail. They are still very young and their new people should enjoy teaching them lovingly everything a puppy needs to know for its future life as a family dog. Similarly, the new owners should be aware that puppies bring along not only a lot of joy, but also a lot of work and responsibility, so that they can develop into great companions. They get along well with other dogs. For the dearest sisters Olga, Olivi and Okarina we are looking for a loving and dog-loving home, where they can enjoy long and varied walks, be appropriately stimulated for their age and dog breed, receive enough rest periods and be spoiled daily with lots of cuddles. Then, a visit to a puppy school and full family integration and the three can finally enjoy a life worthy of a dog. Olga, Olivi and Okarina bring lots of love and joy into their new home. Three charming puppies are looking for their humans! Currently, the sisters are too young for sterilization, which must be completed by their new owners when they are old enough. Final height of 35-45cm and final weight of 8-15kg are estimates. On May 11, 2026, Olga is 24cm and 3kg. The rascal group can travel from around mid-July 2026, once they have found a home or a foster care spot.

About Olga-3

What life with Olga-3 looks like

Olga-3 is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Olga-3, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Olga-3?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Olga-3 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Olga-3 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Olga-3 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Olga-3 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Olga-3 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
