OLUŚ

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

If your dream is a tiny friend, a true pocket treasure that can fit in one hand and brighten up your day with its charm, meet Oluś! This filigree little boy is a tiny puppy that weighs only 1.2 kg. Oluś is a fragile little dog in his sweetest and most endearing age. Instead of growing up in a shelter, this microscopic gentleman should safely discover the world on a soft couch by the side of his beloved human. Oluś is a living embodiment of puppy sweetness and courage. Volunteers are very impressed with this little guy - despite his minimalist dimensions, the boy is very brave in everyday life. He is extremely open, friendly and thirsty for human contact. At the sight of caregivers, he immediately tries to climb onto their laps, wraps himself around their bodies and eagerly demands affection. Our volunteers care for him with the utmost care, but the shelter box is definitely not a place for such a small and sensitive crumb. Oluś urgently needs home warmth and stability to grow healthy and safe. Why is the microscopic and obedient Oluś a perfect puppy? World champion of walking: Although it's hard to believe with such a modest weight, Oluś can already walk on a leash! He walks very nicely and with feeling at the side of a human, and every walk is a wonderful adventure full of interesting smells for him. Wonderful relationship with fellow dogs: The little guy accepts other dogs wonderfully! He is very gentle and sociable with his four-legged friends. He would love to live in a house where another friendly and gentle dog friend is already waiting for him. Ideal micro-companion: Thanks to its microscopic size (1.2 kg), Oluś is the perfect candidate even for a small apartment. He will be the most faithful friend, looking at you, ready to accompany you at every moment of the day. We are looking for a responsible, caring and empathetic home for Oluś, who is aware of how delicate a dog is so small. Give him a safe haven, and this charming boy will repay you with boundless love for a lifetime!

Ten filigranowy chłopczyk to maleńki szczeniaczek, który waży zaledwie 1,2 kg. Oluś to kruchutkie psie dziecko w swoim najsłodszym i najbardziej rozczulającym wieku. Zamiast dorastać w schroniskowych realiach, ten mikroskopijny dżentelmen powinien bezpiecznie odkrywać świat na miękkiej kanapie u boku swojego ukochanego człowieka. Oluś to żywe uosobienie szczenięcej słodyczy i odwagi. Oluś pilnie potrzebuje domowego ciepła i stabilizacji, by zdrowo i bezpiecznie rosnąć. Dlaczego mikroskopijny i pojętny Oluś to szczeniak doskonały? Idealny mikro-towarzysz: Dzięki swoim mikroskopijnym rozmiarom (1,2 kg), Oluś to perfekcyjny kandydat nawet do niewielkiego mieszkania.

About OLUŚ

What life with OLUŚ looks like

OLUŚ is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting OLUŚ, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about OLUŚ?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw OLUŚ on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt OLUŚ if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is OLUŚ already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if OLUŚ isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know OLUŚ and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
