If Onyx could write his own profile, it would probably say: "I'm an excellent conversationalist with a love for adventure. I’m looking for someone who appreciates a loyal companion with lots of energy." Once Onyx gets to know you, he’ll make sure you’re never short of company. He's super playful with a particular love for fishing-rod toys and fetching hair bands. He’s also a keen climber; you’ll regularly find him at the very top of his cat tree, surveying his kingdom. When he’s not keeping watch, he loves making biscuits on his favourite blanket (or on you), or sleeping at the foot of the bed, fulfilling his important duties as your personal protector. But Onyx’s biggest quality is his heart. He can be timid around unfamiliar people or sudden noises, but once he knows it's safe, you get to see the real Onyx – the shy boy turns into a silly, social, and incredibly affectionate one. He will greet you at the door when you come home and happily supervise your daily activities (you might even find him in your bathroom sink). He loves forehead/ chin scratches and, once he completely trusts you, may even allow a belly rub or two. He’s also not fussy when it comes to treats, so winning him over through his stomach shouldn't be difficult. Onyx is being directly rehomed from his current owner. Sadly, they can no longer provide him with the care he deserves and asked us to help them find the best home for this fabulous house panther.
