If you want to invite pure, puppy joy, childlike carefree and lots of positive energy in a wonderful, miniature edition - meet Osa! This absolutely adorable, beautiful girl is a tiny puppy, which currently weighs only 2 kg and is about 2.5 months old (born in May 2026). Osa is a dog child in its sweetest, most endearing age, before which the whole, longest and most beautiful life. Instead of growing up in shelter realities, this fragile, little lady should safely discover the world on a soft couch by the side of her own human. Osa is a living embodiment of openness, curiosity of the world and puppy optimism. Volunteers are very impressed by this little one - despite the shelter surroundings, the girl is very brave and takes her first steps in everyday life. She is incredibly gentle, cheerful and friendly. She loves contact with people - at the sight of volunteers, she immediately tries to climb onto their laps, demands to be taken in their arms, wraps herself up and is eager to give sweet, puppy kisses. Our volunteers take care of her as best they can, but we must say it loudly: the shelter box is not a place for such a tiny crumb. Osa urgently needs safe, home stability to grow healthy, learn about the world and learn good manners by the side of her human. Why is delightful and clever Osa a puppy perfect for you? Ideal micro-companion: Thanks to its microscopic size (now only 2 kg), Osa is the perfect candidate for any apartment or house. She will be the most faithful, infinitely focused on you friend, ready to accompany you at every moment of the day. Clean card and great potential: Being a small puppy, Osa absorbs knowledge like a sponge. She is clever, curious and extremely diligent - with great desire, by the side of a wise and patient guide, she will learn all the rules that apply in the new home. Oasis of unconditional love: This little ball will bring a lot of laughter, life and touching moments to your home. When she has had enough of playing during the day, she immediately turns into the biggest cuddler, wrapping herself in the caregiver and falling asleep quietly. We are looking for a responsible and caring home for Osa, which is ready to accept the dog child with all the charms and responsibilities of puppy age (including learning cleanliness or teething) and will take care of the safety of such a tiny dog. Give her a safe haven, and this adorable girl will repay you with love and loyalty for a lifetime!

About OSA

What life with OSA looks like

OSA is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting OSA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about OSA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw OSA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt OSA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is OSA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if OSA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know OSA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
