PABLO – 1 an – ♂

Mixed Breed · Male

My name is Pablo. I am 1 year old, and even though I am still young, I already have a beginning of life that was nothing like normal. I grew up in an unsanitary home, surrounded by many dogs and cats, I learned to manage as best I could in an environment where everything was confusing. Today, I am learning another life. A life where people speak to me, where people accompany me, where they let me time to understand. I am a small dog who is deeply attached to my human, I need a reference with whom to build a strong bond. I can be a bit crazy at times, when I am overwhelmed by my emotions or the desire to play. But I am mainly a sensitive dog who wants to do well and find his place. I learn quickly. I know my name, I come willingly when called, especially if there is a small reward involved. Cleanliness is recent for me, but I have understood and I am very careful. Every day I progress at my own pace. I love playing, running, burning off energy. Country walks are what I prefer, I relax, I gain confidence, I can really be myself. The city, however, is still complicated. Too much noise, too much movement, too many people... it impresses me. I need a calm environment to feel safe. With other dogs, I am very sociable. It doesn't matter their size, their character, their presence reassures me. I communicate well and I enjoy their company. With children, I can be comfortable, but I need a little time to give my trust. Like with everything, I prefer to observe before approaching. At home, I know how to settle down. The end of the day is my favorite moment. Being on the couch, near my human, in a calm setting, is where I am best. These simple moments have a lot of value for me. I still need to be accompanied, reassured, guided. But I have a real ability to learn, great sensitivity, and above all the desire to create a real bond. If you are ready to give me time, I will know how to become the companion of your life. Would you like to take a journey with me and cuddle me until my old age? J’aime beaucoup jouer, courir, me dépenser. About PABLO – 1 an – ♂

What life with PABLO – 1 an – ♂ looks like

PABLO – 1 an – ♂ is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Association Ron'Rhône in Lyon.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

Frequently asked

Adopting PABLO – 1 an – ♂, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about PABLO – 1 an – ♂?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Association Ron'Rhône handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw PABLO – 1 an – ♂ on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt PABLO – 1 an – ♂ if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Association Ron'Rhône will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is PABLO – 1 an – ♂ already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if PABLO – 1 an – ♂ isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Association Ron'Rhône early rather than rehoming privately; they know PABLO – 1 an – ♂ and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
