PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎

Mixed Breed · Female

I am Paga. I am 6 years old, and I was abandoned after losing my bearings, my routine, and the person around whom my world was built. I am learning to regain trust in a life that is no longer what I knew. I am a very clingy dog with my human. Not demonstrative with everyone, but when I create a bond, it is very strong. At home, I am calm, clean, and non-destructive. I love my comfort, my routines, my little rituals. I eat well, sometimes a bit too fast, and I tend to want to keep what is "mine," especially food. This is something that is very well managed when my space is respected. Outdoors, I am a curious and pleasant dog. I like to take my time, smell each scent, follow trails, and chase moles. I am not sensitive to everyday noises. However, the rain… not for me. With other dogs, cohabitation is possible, but not with anyone. I can live with a calm, respectful companion who does not hover and who accepts that I like to have my human a little to myself. I do not seek conflict, but I hold onto my references and my peace. Horses fascinate me, and I love their presence. Cats and NACs, however, are not my friends. The hardest for me is loneliness. Being left alone awakens something painful. I fear that no one will return. Since being in foster care, I have learned a lot and have begun to discover a form of autonomy. The countryside has done me a world of good. The garden, long forest walks, the calm, help me breathe. The one who needed to be constantly attached to my human is learning to enjoy the garden alone, to settle, to explore. These are small victories, I still have vulnerabilities, fears, but when I feel understood and safe, I give everything. Today, I am looking for a stable, gentle home with humans who can respect my rhythm and emotions. A home where I can finally stop being afraid of being left behind.

About PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎

What life with PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎ looks like

PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎ is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Association Ron'Rhône in Lyon.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Association Ron'Rhône handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎ on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎ if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Association Ron'Rhône will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎ already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎ isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Association Ron'Rhône early rather than rehoming privately; they know PAGA – 6 ans – ♀︎ and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
