Pair of Bonded Shetland Ponies

Female · Senior · 16 years

We have a bonded pair of Shetland ponies looking for a loving home where they can remain together. Their new home must be able to provide safe, suitable turnout along with appropriate stabling or field shelter to provide protection during adverse weather. Experience managing senior horses is essential. Both ponies have lived within a mixed herd alongside horses, ponies and donkeys of a range of ages and sizes, so they could make suitable companions for a variety of equines. If you feel you could offer these two a suitable home, please complete an application form. If we feel your home may be a good match, we will be in touch to discuss things further.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pair of Bonded Shetland Ponies, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pair of Bonded Shetland Ponies?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Many Tears Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pair of Bonded Shetland Ponies on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pair of Bonded Shetland Ponies if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a horse can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Many Tears Animal Rescue what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Pair of Bonded Shetland Ponies already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a horse comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Many Tears Animal Rescue directly what is included and what Pair of Bonded Shetland Ponies still needs.
What happens if Pair of Bonded Shetland Ponies isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Many Tears Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pair of Bonded Shetland Ponies and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
