On May 6, 2018, we gave our debut at Pegnitzer Maimarkt. Together with many helpers from our association, we set up our info and sales stand early in the morning, ready to greet the first visitors at the starting shot at 11:00 a.m. Numerous interested parties, supporters, and friends of animal welfare found their way to us, learned about our work in detail, and took something from our rich sales offering home with them. Whether merchandise items with our association logo (mugs, bags, and keychains), marzipan animal figures, pieces of art resin jewelry, lovingly crafted garden decorations, or stuffed animals, there was something for every taste. In fact, almost every single item was handcrafted by us! For the little ones, we offered a children's quiz with tricky questions on animal protection as well as buttons and T-shirts for customizing. And not only the children, as female dog Bella with her charming snapshot proved, were the shirts popular. We look back on a beautiful day with many interesting encounters, new contacts, inspiring conversations, and a lot of fun. The fantastic weather with beautiful sunshine from morning till night rounded off our first market appearance impressively. We come back – to the Kirchweihmarkt on August 26, 2018 – and are already looking forward to it today.

Am 06.05.18 gaben wir unser Debüt am Pegnitzer Maimarkt. Zusammen mit vielen Helfern unseres Vereins bauten wir schon früh des Morgens unseren Info- und Verkaufsstand auf, um pünktlich zum Startschuss um 11.00 h die ersten Besucher begrüßen zu können. Zahlreiche Interessierte, Unterstützer und Freunde der Tierhilfe fanden den Weg zu uns, ließen sich umfassend über unsere Arbeit informieren und nahmen nebenbei ein Mitbringsel aus unserem reichhaltigen Verkaufsangebot mit nach Hause. Ob Merchandise-Artikel mit unserem Vereinslogo (Tassen, Taschen und Schlüsselanhänger), Tierfiguren aus Marzipan, Schmuckstücke aus Kunstharz, liebevoll gestaltete Gartendekorationen oder Stofftiere, Katzenminze- und Baldriankissen – es war für alle Geschmäcker etwas dabei. Beinahe jedes einzelne Teil wurde übrigens von uns handgefertigt! Für die kleinen Leute boten wir ein Kinderquiz mit kniffligen Fragen zum Tierschutz sowie Buttons und T-Shirts zum Selbstgestalten an. Und nicht nur bei den Kindern war das Shirt beliebt, wie uns Hündin Bella mit ihrem entzückenden Schnappschuss bewies. Wir blicken auf einen wunderschönen Tag mit vielen interessanten Begegnungen, neuen Kontakten, inspirierenden Gesprächen und jeder Menge Spaß zurück. Das phantastische Wetter mit herrlichem Sonnenschein von früh bis spät rundete unseren ersten Marktautritt eindrucksvoll ab. Wir kommen wieder – zum Kirchweihmarkt am 26.08.2018 – und freuen uns schon heute darauf.
