Johnny Depp (born approximately 2021-2022) and Pekko (born summer 2024) have lived together in the same foster home from the beginning and they will only be given to a shared home! First came Peruna, a terrier about one year old, from the countryside near Vaasa. The round shaped puppy was named after a famous actor, but her nickname was quickly adopted. Peruna was initially a very shy case. She feared everything, but she didn't run away or defend herself; she just froze in fear. She could be petted, but she mainly tolerated it. Formerly a stray, the foster home dogs provided Peruna with safety and showed her a male model. In a few years she has become a sweet, affectionate dog who greets visitors at the door wagging her tail in hope! She may still sometimes startle and run away, but she comes back soon and creeps into the lap of her companion. A couple of years later came Piruliina with her puppies from the same area as Peruna. Peruna behaved as if her long-lost family had returned; she immediately rushed to take care of Piruliina's puppies, washing them and cuddling them by their sides. And wow, the proud Piruliina accepted Peruna as her mother-in-law! Occasionally Peruna behaved very diligently like a father, and sometimes she even seemed to have turned into one of Piruliina's puppies. It was funny when Piruliina let Peruna also go to the milk market once or twice. The puppies grew and the lively girl duo soon found a home. The son of the mother, Pekko, remained, relying more and more on his mother Piruliina and the kind Peruna. Pekko and Peruna are like close brothers. They play together and come up with all sorts of tricks. One of the best games is chasing a rope or a ball! After playing, they fall asleep next to each other, side by side, cleaning each other. Even though Pekko is still cautious, he has never been aggressive. He can sometimes be petted while safely cuddled in his friend's lap. Then you can even hear a light whining! Peruna has thus taken on the same role that the foster home dogs once offered to her. The pair is longing for a patient home and an experienced owner. The initial shock can be significant and adaptation may be difficult and take a long time. Peruna and Pekko can be met at the foster parent's place upon agreement. Johnny Depp (synt. arvio 2021-2022) ja Pekko (s. 2024 kesä) ovat alusta alkaen asustaneet samassa kotihoitopaikassa ja heidät luovutetaan vain yhteiseen kotiin! Ensin Vaasan lähialueen maaseudulta saapui Peruna, noin vuoden vanha ressukka. Perunan muotoinen pallero sai nimensä kuuluisan näyttelijän mukaan, mutta lempinimi jäi nopeasti käyttöön. Peruna oli aluksi kovin surkea tapaus. Hän pelkäsi kuollakseen kaikkea, mutta ei paennut tai puolustautunut; hän vain kivettyi kauhusta. Silittää siis sai, mutta hän lähinnä sieti sitä. Entisenä populaatiokissana kotihoitopaikan muut kollit toivat Perunalle turvaa ja näyttivät miehenmallia. Muutamassa vuodessa hänestä on kuoriutunut hellyydenkipeä hurmuri, joka tulee vieraitakin jo ovella vastaan rapsutusten toivossa! Hän saattaa yhä yllättäen säpsähtää ja kipittää karkuun, mutta palaa taas pian ja ryömii kehräten kainaloon. Pari vuotta myöhemmin saapui Piruliina pesueineen samoilta seuduilta kuin Peruna. Peruna käyttäytyi kuin hänen kauan kadoksissa ollut perheensä olisi palannut; hän kiirehti heti hoitamaan Piruliinan pentuja pesten niitä ja käpertyen kiinni niiden kylkeen. Ja kas kummaa, nimeään ylpeästi kantava Piruliina otti Perunan avosylin vastaan! Ajoittain Peruna käyttäytyi ahkeran isällisesti, välillä taas vaikutti, kuin hän olisi muuttunut yhdeksi Piruliinan pennuista. Hupsuinta oli, kun Piruliina antoi pari kertaa myös Perunan päästä maitomarkkinoille. Pennut kasvoivat ja reipas tyttökaksikko sai pian kodin. Mammanpoika Pekko jäi, turvautuen yhä tiiviimmin emoonsa Piruliinaan ja kilttiin Perunaan. Pekko ja Peruna ovat kuin läheiset veljekset. He leikkivät yhdessä ja keksivät kaikenlaisia kolttosia. Yksi parhaimmista leikeistä on narun tai onkilelun jahtaus! Leikkien jälkeen he väsähtävät vierekkäin, kylki kyljessä ja puhdistavat toinen toisensa. Vaikka Pekko on vielä arka, hän ei ole ikinä agressiivinen. Häntä saa joskus jopa silittää hänen makoillessaan turvallisesti kaverinsa kainalossa. Silloin voi kuulla kevyttä kehräystäkin! Peruna on siis ottanut saman roolin, jonka kotihoitopaikan kollit aikoinaan tarjosivat hänelle <3 Kaksikko kaipaa kärsivälliseen kotiin ja kokeneen omistajan. Alkushokki voi olla aikamoinen ja sopeutuminen saattaa olla vaikeaa ja kestää kauan. Perunaan ja Pekkoon pääsee tutustumaan kotihoitajan luo sovitusti.
